Privacy Policy

We collect the following information when you use BFABound:

• Account information — your email address and password when you create an account.
• Dancer profile data — your dancer's name, training background, style, target schools, and other information you provide during onboarding to personalize your audition guide.
• Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Stripe. BFABound never sees or stores your credit card number. We receive a confirmation token and basic transaction metadata (plan purchased, amount).
• Uploaded files — resumes and video files you upload are stored securely in our cloud storage (Supabase Storage) and are only accessible to you and, in the case of video reviews, assigned reviewers.
• Usage data — we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics (pages visited, session duration). This data is not linked to your identity.

We use the information you provide to:

• Generate and deliver your personalized BFA audition guide, task list, and insider notes.
• Process payments securely through Stripe.
• Send transactional emails (confirmation, packet delivery, video review updates) through Resend.
• Improve BFABound's content and features based on anonymized usage patterns.
• Respond to support requests sent to [email protected].

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

• We never sell your personal data to any third party.
• We never share your information with colleges, programs, or any third party except the service providers listed below that are necessary to operate BFABound.
• We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

The only third-party services that receive any of your data are:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — database and file storage hosting. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the United States.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (confirmation emails, packet notifications).
• Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — AI-powered content generation for your personalized packet. Inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models per our API agreement.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data — including your dancer profile, school selections, tasks, and uploaded files — email us at [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days.

Payment records may be retained as required by law and Stripe's terms.

BFABound uses cookies for two purposes:

• Authentication — a session cookie keeps you logged in between visits. This is essential for the app to function.
• Analytics — Google Analytics sets cookies to track anonymized usage. You can opt out via your browser settings or a browser extension like uBlock Origin.

We do not use advertising cookies.
