Terms of Service

Effective date: May 2026

What BFABound is

BFABound is an information, organization, and preparation tool for dance families navigating the BFA college audition process. It provides personalized audition timelines, insider program notes, inquiry email templates, task tracking, and video review services.

BFABound is not an admissions consulting service and does not guarantee admission to any program. All admissions decisions are made solely by the programs themselves. BFABound provides guidance and information to help families prepare — outcomes depend on the dancer, the program, and factors outside anyone's control.

By creating an account or using BFABound, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree to use BFABound only for its intended purpose — helping your dancer navigate the BFA audition process. You agree not to:

  • Share your account login with others. Each account is for one family/dancer.
  • Resell, redistribute, or republish BFABound's content — including insider notes, school summaries, or generated emails — in any form.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content from BFABound.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce BFABound's features or content for a competing service.
  • Use BFABound in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of third parties.

Payments

BFABound plans provide 12 months of access from the date of purchase. Access covers one full audition season and expires 12 months after payment. There are no recurring subscriptions unless explicitly indicated.

Refund policy: Because BFABound delivers personalized digital content immediately upon purchase, all sales are final once your packet has been generated or your video review has been assigned to a reviewer. If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery, contact us at [email protected] and we will work to resolve it.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. BFABound does not store your credit card information. Your payment is subject to Stripe's terms of service.

Intellectual property

All content on BFABound — including but not limited to insider program notes, school summaries, task frameworks, email templates, and the software itself — is the intellectual property of BFABound and is protected by copyright law.

Purchasing a BFABound plan grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own dancer's audition preparation. This license does not grant you the right to copy, distribute, or create derivative works from BFABound's content.

Content you upload (resumes, videos) remains yours. You grant BFABound a limited license to store and process it solely to deliver the services you've purchased.

Disclaimer

BFABound provides information and organizational tools to help dance families prepare for auditions. We make every effort to keep program information accurate, but audition requirements, deadlines, and program details change — always verify critical information directly with each program.

BFABound is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that use of BFABound will result in any particular outcome, including acceptance to any BFA program. Admissions decisions are made entirely by the programs, based on criteria that are outside BFABound's control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BFABound's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Termination

BFABound reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service — including sharing accounts, reselling content, or using the service in any way not permitted above.

You may stop using BFABound at any time. To request deletion of your account and data, email [email protected].

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service as BFABound grows. When we make material changes, we'll note the new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of BFABound after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
